Hungary receives the first batch of Chinese Covid vaccine

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Affairs of Hungary, Menzel, and other government officials went to the Liszt International Airport to greet the vaccine, accompanied by Qi Dayu, the Chinese Ambassador to Hungary.

Menzel said in an interview with a headquarter reporter that for Hungary, saving lives is the first. In this regard, Chinese vaccines will play a key role. Most importantly, the vaccine arrived quickly. The two parties have agreed that the delivery date will not be later than the end of February, and it arrived early today. I am very happy to receive this batch of vaccines.

On January 29, the Hungarian National Institute of Medicine and Nutrition approved the use of the new crown vaccine produced by China National Pharmaceutical Group, becoming the first EU country to approve a Chinese vaccine. It is reported that the Chinese vaccine will be put into practical application after being tested and approved by the Hungarian National Public Health Center.

On January 16, the first batch of China National Pharmaceutical Group Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Serbia. On January 19, Serbia began to receive Chinese vaccines, becoming the first European country to use Chinese vaccines.
