    Asaro Biondo

    Carlo d'Asaro Biondo has managed Google's Southern, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa business since September 2009.  He began his career as a consultant for KPMG and 12 years later he become the consulting group's Chief Executive Officer in France.   At the end of 2001, he joined Unisys as Vice President and General Manager for communications and media businesses.

    In February 2004, he joined AOL Europe as Senior Vice President for telecommunications. Five months later, he was appointed CEO of AOL France and three years later became President of AOL Europe. Carlo moved to Lagardere Active Media in the beginning of 2007 as CEO for International Operations, before joining Google in 2009.

  • Tony Bates

    Bates
    Tony Bates is President of the Skype Division of Microsoft. He is responsible for overseeing the division's direction, strategy and spearheading their mission to become a global communications provider that will eventually reach billions of users.

    Before joining Skype, Bates was senior vice president and general manager of Cisco's Enterprise, Commercial and Small Business Group.

    Before working at Cisco, Bates spearheaded the backbone-engineering strategy for Internet MCI (MCI's national IP backbone). He has more than 20 years of experience in the Internet and telecommunications industries, and has published 12 IETF RFCs in the areas of Internet Routing and Operations. He holds nine patents in the area of Layer 2 and Layer 3 innovations.

    Bates has also served as a member of the board of YouTube (GOOG) and LoveFilm (AMZN).  He is married with four children and in his spare time enjoys skiing and tennis.
  • Frank Holland

    Holland

    Frank Holland is corporate vice president of Advertising and Online business at Microsoft Corp. Holland is responsible for leading advertising sales to Microsoft, meeting the unique needs of the company's advertising customers and partners. Holland and the business report directly to Kevin Turner, chief operations officer.

    Prior to his current role, Holland served as corporate vice president of Operations at Microsoft. In that role, he was responsible for the strategy and execution of Microsoft's supply chain solutions and sales readiness for the Commercial and OEM businesses. He led the company's agreement processing and invoicing, sales operations and business planning groups, and was also responsible for the incentive compensation and training of the global sales force. Since joining Microsoft in 1998, Holland has held a number of leadership roles in IT and Operations, including general manager of OEM Operations where he ran the supply chain, fulfilling products for Microsoft's largest hardware partners.

  • David Kenny

    Chairman & CEO, The Weather Channel Companies

    David Kenny is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Weather Channel Companies (TWCC). An experienced executive with a strong record in the media and digital industries, Kenny works closely with the management team and the Board of Directors to leverage the company's unique collection of media assets and spearhead the further development of a comprehensive, integrated strategy to accelerate its growth in the United States and internationally.

    David brings strong leadership experience from the media industry, a deep understanding of the TV and digital businesses, and vision to drive global initiatives across all platforms. Kenny comes to TWCC after serving as president of Akamai, the leading cloud platform designed to help enterprises provide secure, high-performing user experiences to mobile and fixed internet users.

    Previously, he co-founded and served as managing partner of VivaKi, the combined worldwide media and digital arm of Publicis Groupe, and he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Digitas Inc., a top global integrated brand agency. Kenny currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Yahoo Inc., The Ad Council and SessionM. He is also a director of Teach for America, a nonprofit that enlists recent graduates to teach and to effect change in under-resourced and low-income communities.

    The Weather Channel properties are the most popular source of weather news and information, reaching 163 million people - and 110 million of those people access content through multiple platforms. The Weather Channel provides weather information online to 62 million unique users each month and 11 million per day. It also reaches 30 million monthly unique users through its mobile platform and 94 million monthly cable viewers. TWCC is owned by a consortium of Bain Capital, The Blackstone Group, and NBC Universal.  

  • Dave Morgan

    Dave is the CEO and founder of Simulmedia. He previously founded and ran both TACODA, Inc., an online advertising company that pioneered behavioral online marketing and was acquired by AOL in 2007 for $275 million, and Real Media, Inc., one of the world's first ad serving and online ad network companies and a predecessor to 24/7 Real Media (TFSM), which was later sold to WPP for $649 million. After the sale of TACODA, Dave served as Executive Vice President, Global Advertising Strategy, at AOL, a Time Warner Company (TWX).

    A lawyer by training, Dave served as General Counsel and Director of New Media Ventures at the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association in the early 1990's.

    Dave received a B.A. in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law. He serves on the boards of the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS) and the American Press Institute (API), and was a long-time member of the executive committee and board of directors of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). He and his wife, writer Lorea Canales, live in Manhattan with their two daughters.

    Stéphane Richard is Chairman and CEO of France Telecom-Orange, respectively appointed in February 2011 and March 2010.
    
Mr. Richard first joined the management of France Telecom in September 2009 then later named Deputy CEO in charge of France Operations in October 2009.
    
From May 2007 to June 2009, he was Chief of Staff at the French Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Employment.
    
In January 2003, Mr. Richard was appointed as Executive Vice President of Veolia Environnement and Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Transport. Prior to this appointment, he spent 3 years as Chairman of Compagnie Générale d'Immobilier et de Services, which is now Nexity.
