The Revolution Will Be Televised
The big chips are finally down: the Net takes on TV. On living room walls and street corners. Via plasma screens, lapbooks, tele-puters and hi-def handsets. Pulled and pushed, time shifted, leaned forward and leaning back. With the bulk of the world's entertainment and marketing dollars at stake. Les jeux sont faits!
Led by an all-new (well almost) stellar list of co-chairs--see the full list at left--MMF 2009 will zero in on the collision of the broadband-fueled Internet and the evolving medium formerly known as television. We'll make excursions onto other nearby battle grounds: games as reality, print springs eternal, news meets communications, the death of the click. We'll find new business models emerging from relentless change. Leaving plenty of time--we promise!--for MMF's trademark deep talk, global connections and cross-platform deal-making.
If you've just got your invitation, welcome back--follow the instructions in the e-mail to secure your place for November. And don't believe everything you read about deadlines--space at MMF is always limited, so the sooner you get your name in play the better.
If not--and you're a founder, CEO or head of a major business unit, doing interesting work in any part of the ever-expanding mediasphere--drop a line to contact@monacomediaforum.org and tell us why you should be part of the most interesting global talking shop in media today. No promises, but we're always looking to expand the conversation.
Salut!
